Castletown Jets, 41 v Suntera Global Ballasalla 1, 6
Castletown Cats were up for this game against Suntera Global Ballasalla 1 from the very start. Slick play from attackers Mollie Zybert and Ruby Watterson ensured that the ball went into the circle every time Castletown had possession. With defensive pressure from Kate Potts and Summer Sadler, that Ballasalla didn’t get on the scoreboard until the second quarter. In the second half, the Ballasalla defence picked up. Natalie Howland, at goal keeper, was able to turn over the ball on a number of occasions, but the ball struggled to get through the centre third and Ballasalla were not able to capitalise. Ballasalla goal Shooter Eleanor Wheeler managed to sink a few more shots, and do so with ease, but Castletown managed to limit her involvement by not letting the play enter that end of the court, and Amy Potts, the Castletown goal shooter, continued with an onslaught of goals. The game finished 41-6 to Castletown, and Players of the Match were Erin Chapple (Castletown) and Rhianna Kinley (Ballasalla).
